Kardiyo kavram\u0131, kalp ve damar sistemini ifade eden kardiyovask\u00fcler kelimesinden geliyor. Kardiyovask\u00fcler sistemi harekete ge\u00e7iren egzersizler, kardiyo ad\u0131yla spor literat\u00fcr\u00fcnde yer al\u0131yor. Daha g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc bir kalp, dayan\u0131kl\u0131 bir beden ve daha az ya\u011f hedefiyle yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar, h\u0131zl\u0131 kalori harcamaya dayan\u0131yor. Kalp ritminin art\u0131p azalmas\u0131na, bilin\u00e7li olarak ritmin kontrol edilmesine dayanan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda, nefes al\u0131\u015fveri\u015fi de y\u00fckseliyor.
